Day 1: Arrival in Dar Es Salaam
Upon arrival in Dar Es Salaam, you will be transferred to your hotel where you will spend the night.
Day 2: Flight to Katavi National Park
After breakfast, you will take a flight from Dar Es Salaam to Katavi National Park. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your camp. In the afternoon, you will go on a walking safari to explore the surroundings at a closer distance. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Game Drive in Katavi National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a game drive in Katavi National Park. You will have the opportunity to see various wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalos, and many more. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Walking Safari in Katavi National Park
After breakfast, you will go for a walking safari in the park. This will be an opportunity to explore the bush more closely and learn about the smaller animals and plants that can be easily missed on a game drive. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Flight to Gombe Stream National Park
After breakfast, you will take a flight from Katavi National Park to Gombe Stream National Park. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your lodge. In the afternoon, you will have some leisure time to relax and enjoy the lodge facilities.
Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking in Gombe Stream National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a chimpanzee trek in the forest. Gombe Stream is one of the few places in the world where you can see chimpanzees in the wild. Return to the lodge for a relaxing afternoon spent at your leisure.
Day 7: Flight to Dar Es Salaam
After breakfast, you will take a flight back to Dar Es Salaam. From there, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
