7 days safaris to Central Serengeti National Park & Western Serengeti
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet your driver-guide for transfer to a lodge for dinner and overnight in Arusha, Tanzania.
Day 2: Arusha – Serengeti National Park – Central Serengeti
After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park in a private 4×4 vehicle with picnic lunch en-route. On arrival in the park, you will go on a game drive en-route to your lodge in the Central Serengeti. You will be able to explore different areas of the park and see the wildebeest migration. Arrive in time for dinner and overnight at a lodge in the central Serengeti.
Day 3-4: Central Serengeti
You will have full-day game drives in the Central Serengeti area for two days. The Central Serengeti is known for its vast plains that offer great wildlife viewing opportunities. This area is famous for its abundance of big cats such as lions, leopards and cheetahs. You will also have an opportunity to witness the wildebeest migration. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight each evening.
Day 5: Central Serengeti – Western Serengeti
After breakfast, drive to the Western Serengeti, which is another area that provides good opportunities to see the wildebeest migration. The Western Serengeti is home to the Grumeti River which is the scene of one of the wildebeest crossings. You will have lunch en-route and game drive to the lodge in the Western Serengeti. Arrive in time for dinner and overnight at a lodge in the Western Serengeti.
Day 6: Western Serengeti
In the morning, you will set out on a sunrise game drive to experience some of the best wildlife views. You will also have opportunities to see the Grumeti River wildebeest crossing. You will take a midday break and return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will take a game drive and enjoy the beautiful sunset views. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Western Serengeti – Departure
After breakfast, depart from the Western Serengeti and drive back to Arusha with picnic lunch en-route. On arrival in Arusha, you will be dropped off at the airport or the hotel for departure.
